Agnes Stone, age 67, of Crookston, MN, passed away on Thursday (May 26th) at Riverview Hospital in Crookston. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday (June 1st) at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Crookston with Father Bob Schreiner presiding. Interment will be in the Lengby City Cemetery, Lengby, MN. Visitation will be held from noon until the hour of the service on Wednesday at the Cathedral. She grew up in rural Lengby, Minnesota and attended Fosston Schools. Agnes lived at home near Lengby until 1982 when she moved to Erskine, Minnesota. She moved to Karlstad, Minnesota in 1998 and to the REM residence in Crookston, Minnesota in 2000. Agnes had worked at the Pioneer Memorial Nursing Home in Erskine and at the DAC in Fosston, Karlstad and Crookston. Agnes liked to shop (especially for purses), laminating, and enjoyed going to lunch and visiting with family and friends. She was a member of the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception in Crookston. Survivors include her three brothers, Dave (Marilyn) of Wasilla, AK, Mike (Donna) of Sebeka, MN, and Merlin (Dottie) of Thief River Falls, MN; nieces, and nephews, Bobbi Jo (Kevin) Domagalla, Laura Stone, Julie (Scott) Greve, Mikey (John) Klinkhammer, Shari (Michael) Qual, Karin (Dan) Preisler, Loni (Jerrod) Jirik, David "DJ" (Lena) Stone, Leslie (Michael) Fisher, Laurie (Jordan) Hickman, Lesa Page, Robert (Heather) Carlson, and their children, many cousins; very good friend, Patricia LaCoursiere; two aunts, Helen Poppler and Beryl Fritz; and uncle Glenn Poppler. She is also survived by her dog, Mikey. She was preceded in death by her parents.
